Building the Future Workforce with Purpose and Opportunity
Top Way is committed to fostering the next generation of skilled professionals through structured, high-quality apprenticeship and scholarship programs. These initiatives play a key role in supporting workforce development, driving innovation, and strengthening our operational capabilities across Iraq and the region.
Our Apprenticeship Program is designed to offer career-building pathways aligned with our company’s evolving workforce demands. By combining on-the-job training with structured instruction, we aim to equip apprentices with technical knowledge, practical skills, and professional readiness. This approach ensures that both individuals and the organization benefit from a continuous pipeline of well-trained talent.
The long-term vision of Top Way’s Apprenticeship & Scholarship initiative is to expand accessibility, enhance industry relevance, and promote inclusivity across all levels. We view apprenticeships not only as a means of talent development, but also as a strategic investment in sustainable economic growth and social advancement.
Program Objectives:
Establish apprenticeships as a valued entry point into meaningful, long-term careers within Top Way.
Ensure equitable access to apprenticeship and scholarship opportunities.
Provide continuous development, mentorship, and structured guidance for all apprentices.
Align apprenticeship content with current industry standards, technology, and safety practices.
Program Structure:
1. Line Manager Responsibility
Each apprentice is assigned a dedicated Line Manager who oversees the apprentice’s day-to-day responsibilities. The manager is accountable for onboarding, role integration, progress reviews, assigning tasks, performance evaluation, and ensuring professional development throughout the apprenticeship period.
2. Mentor Responsibility
In addition to the Line Manager, apprentices will be paired with a Mentor—an experienced team member who provides one-on-one support, shares knowledge, and assists with informal development. Mentors serve as trusted advisors, helping apprentices navigate workplace dynamics and overcome challenges.
3. Apprentice Commitment
Apprentices are expected to actively engage in the program, follow all company policies and safety procedures, and seek guidance when needed. They are responsible for fulfilling their job duties with diligence, embracing continuous learning, and contributing positively to the Top Way team environment.
By championing Apprenticeship & Scholarship programs, Top Way aims to cultivate a diverse, agile, and future-ready workforce. Through structured pathways and strong support systems, we remain dedicated to empowering individuals with opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed within our organization.
